The company, which since the 1950s has established itself as a specialist in the woolen field and in particular in the finishing process (napping and shearing) of classic velours for coats manufacture, has been able to exploit all the experience acquired in this field to develop high quality fleece.

Fleece was a revolution in the way of dressing and paved the way for technical clothing: a path which is constantly evolving and refining.

Different weights provide different thermal insulation properties that meet various usage requirements: from the first layer, light and breathable, to the highest weights that offer very high air permeability.

All Tecnopile products are anti-pilling, have high comfort features and offer high wear resistance. 

The use of jacquard technology has provided some of our fleeces with special structures and a wide variety of colours as well as three-dimensional effects for improving thermal insulation and moisture absorption capacity. A particular fabric structure, the so-called ‘Grid’, available in different sizes, from a micro-grid to a bigger grid (larger checks), can offer both higher air permeability as well as greater lightness compared to a classic plain fleece. Furthermore, its several air cavities create an insulating effect with high thermal efficiency allowing the fabric to be always warm on the skin.
