Pontetorto accelerates on environmental best practices and obtains ISO14001 certification.

The Prato-based company, which has been active in the production of fashion and sports fabrics since 1952, has fine-tuned an ambitious project involving every single production process to achieve ISO14001 certification today. An internationally recognized standard as a reference for environmental management systems to support environmental protection, pollution prevention and reduction of energy and resource consumption.
This standard is internationally recognized as a reference for environmental management systems in favor of environmental protection, attention to the consumption of renewable resources and the management of waste and atmospheric emissions.
The environmental know-how placed in this certification goes through every stage of the value chain and attests to a commitment consolidated over the years and begun in 1952 with the first circular textile economy system in the regeneration of natural fibers. To this day, a central theme in the Italian textile supply chain.
