NO WIND SOFTSHELL

The NO WIND SOFTSHELL fabrics  from pontetorto sportsystem collection, due to their structure and elastic no wind membrane,  combine three fundamental characteristics for outdoor activities: wind protection, water protection, and breathability.

A true protective shield against the harshest natural elements.
These fabrics are characterized by their extreme softness and excellent elasticity, qualities that make them very versatile and comfortable compared to any other traditional shell.

These multifunctional, resistent and functional fabrics are laminated with a hydrophilic polyurethane nowind membrane, wind proof, breathable and elastic,.

The outside layers are principally knits or wovens in nylon or polyester, while the inner layer can be a very light polyester jersey for spring summer jackets, or a micropile in various weights according to the thermal function required.

SOFTSHELL

For this category the right side is not brushed, whether it is plain or structured, and is treated with a (DWR) fluorocarbon free (C zero) water resistant  finish, on the inner side stretch jersey or microfleece is used  in order to  give the highest comfort to the fabric.
We use stretch, wind and waterproof membranes as the “Nowind 250” over the windproof only, our “nowind 150” to offer an higher breathability.
Suitable for skiing, trekking and mountain climbing, these comfortable multifunctional fabrics can be also used  for urbanwear.

NO WIND

This group of articles includes the classic polyester microfleeces used for both the outer and inner layers, with windproof stretch membranes to obtain fabrics that have very high thermal performance, but at the same time are light, stretchy, and comfortable.
Some variations  have an internal layer of ultra lightweight mesh for very light summer jackets.
These fabrics are used for trekking, but are used also for workwear, above all for those who work outdoors in the cold winter months and need the highest thermal protection.
